Food Service Ambassador, Yale-New Haven Hospital, New Haven, CT
Serving patients meals isn't just about bringing them food.
For more than 15 years, Sarah has worked in Food and Nutrition Services at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Serving patients meals from the hospital’s restaurant-style menu isn’t just about bringing them food, Sarah says: “I always ask how they’re feeling and if I can do something to make them more comfortable. I’ll stop whatever I’m doing and get them anything they need. And I smile at all times, no matter what. It really makes me feel good when I can do a little something extra to make a patient’s day better.“
Thank you for your compassion and kindness, Sarah!
