New Coalition Ad Addresses Urgency of IPPS Fix
For the next couple of weeks, efforts to get Congress to reverse $20 billion in Medicare cuts over the next five years included in the final Inpatient Prospective Payment System (IPPS) rule will be center stage. New Coalition ads began running today in publications read widely on Capitol Hill to help keep the issue at a high level of visibility and impart urgency to the need to reverse the cuts. We’re up against a tough deadline---the IPPS rule goes into effect Oct. 1.
