Members of Congress were welcomed back for the 108th Congress with a Coalition print ad urging speedy action on hospital payment relief legislation.  The ad makes the case for the increased payments by citing the burden caused by the health care workforce crisis, the need to invest in new technology and disaster readiness, and the chilling reality that a third of all hospitals are already losing money.

Within hours of the House Budget Committee endorsement of billion of dollars in Medicare and Medicaid cuts, the Coalition created new radio and print ads asking House members to vote "no" on final passage when the resolution goes to the House floor later this week.  The ads remind lawmakers that Medicare and Medicaid provide critical health care services for our most fragile citizens, and that the further cuts would devastate hospitals.
