Coalition Ad Campaign

When we were at the height of the campaign to reverse the unintended consequences of the Balanced Budget Act of 1997, thousands of hospitals, associations and businesses came together to form the Coalition to Protect America’s Health Care.  The Coalition quickly agreed that it would focus on one mission and one mission only:  developing and placing TV, radio and print advertising that supports hospital advocacy.

New Coalition Ad Addresses Urgency of IPPS Fix

For the next couple of weeks, efforts to get Congress to reverse $20 billion in Medicare cuts over the next five years included in the final Inpatient Prospective Payment System (IPPS) rule will be center stage.  New Coalition ads began running today in publications read widely on Capitol Hill to help keep the issue at a high level of visibility and impart urgency to the need to reverse the cuts.  We’re up against a tough deadline---the IPPS rule goes into effect Oct. 1.
