Director, EMS, Pocahontas Community Hospital, Pocahontas, IA
Colleagues remember Dan for his courage, and for his dedication to the job he loved.
"Dan was Pocahontas Community Hospital’s exceptional emergency medical services director who, despite facing his own personal challenges, continued to put the well-being of his staff and community before himself,” says Scott M.
Dan passed away December 12, 2014 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Even after losing the lower part of his leg to cancer, Dan remained dedicated to the job he loved: leading the Pocahontas EMS group, and providing the community with the medical support they need. We are grateful to Dan for his commitment to the health and well-being of his community!
